UniKL BMI Final Year Project FYP1 LOGBOOK Activities Progress

 FYP Briefing MS Team #2 On week 6, the workshop was conducted through MS Team and the attendance of all FYP 1 student is compulsory. The briefing was conducted by Dr. Hidayah Yunus.  All student that attended the meeting has been briefed roughly on chapter 1 which is the Introduction. It consists of background of the project, problem statement, objectives, significance and scopes of the project. All this part and point need to be in Chapter 1 and important before proceed to the another part. For Chapter 2, literature review. minimum of 10 papers must be relevant and related to the project we want to do. What is known about a topic, concept or problem should be decided by the thesis. Determines product differences, constraints & inconsistencies.  Title Confirmation Dr. Zaki and me had a discussion on the title confirmation whether I want to make any changes or added something on the synopnis before he register it on fyp portal. We then decided that all set and no changes made. As mention on previous discussion, Madam Zuhanis has remined all fyp1 student that the title need to be register before week 5 on Monday. Thanks to Dr. Zaki he help me with title registration before it due. Final confirmation. Title: The Development of Innovative Vehicle Alert System Synopsis: Road disaster can happen anytime, anywhere resulting in unexpected consequences depending on the level of severity.  Discussion on Previous Project First, I contact Dr.Zaki to meet him at his office level 5 Electronics Section and have a face to face discussion and brainstorming. Next, he briefing about the previous project that one of his student has completed it. We discussed about other option that need to added on the system. We choose to add a flood level measure that attached on 4x4 car. The system preferred to be installed on thus type of car to make sure it has less obstacle and engine has more power to pass through the area that experiencing a flash flood. Then, it send the exact information to center and center will inform other user that use IROVAS system about the flash flood level whether other vehicle can pass through or not. They have other option if they stuck in the flash flood and need emergency help, they can just push the emergency button without using phone because the system already implement an Internet of Thing technology on the board.   FYP Briefing MS Team #1 On week 3. The briefing was conducted through MS Team and all the FYP student need to attend the meeting. This first briefing was explained and conducted by Dr. Zuhanis Mansor. In this briefing, the FYP committee have briefed us about assessments scheme, thesis submission process which is in PDF format and hardbound, date of presentation day and attire, forms of submissions, budget claim, activities for this semester. The student was required to confirm the title project carefully and the dateline for title registration before week 5 on Monday 17 August 2020 and have a discussion with supervisor.
