FYP Briefing MS Team #3 On week 10, the briefing was conducted through MS Teams and the attendance of all FYP 1 student is compulsory. The briefing was conducted by Dr. Punithavathi A/P M.Thirunavakkarasu.  Student have been told to design the block diagram based on the project component input and output. Then, we need to do the flow chart and explain the process from start to the end of the system and get a feedback from our supervisor. After that, we need to describe the material, component and equipment used in the project. Date: 30th September 2020 Venue: via Microsoft Teams Time: 3pm – 5pm Attendant: Compulsory

WEEK 10 Activity FYP1

Block Diagram Analysis and Research The block diagram is divided into three different parts where it has the input section that uses the ultrasonic sensor which is one for distance sensor and another is for flood sensor, IR sensor and vibration sensor as the microcontroller's input signal, the process section that uses Arduino as the brain of this project, and the output section that uses the GPS and GSM module to give the rescue team an emergency signal. Hence, the research still on going to make it perfect system that every level society can have the system embedded in their cars. However, I believe every project or prototype got advantage and disadvantage that we cannot avoid it.

Choose Suitable Component @Sensor The aim of this project is to build a car with safety system that will warn the driver if it detects suspicious driving activity and to send an alert message to the rescue team if an accident is detected. Plus, it will send a flood level that certain area experienced. For this project, the Arduino Uno is the key part that serves as the brain for this project. Since it functions as a microcontroller, it is the main source of receiving and transmitting data.  the idea of this project is by running an ultrasonic sensor then it will measure the flood level once the current car that used IROVAS system pass through the flood area, the IR sensor will track the car's speed, and the vibration sensor will detect some amount of shock. To be interpreted, the input signals will be sent to the microcontroller. The Arduino is the main brain of this system and, based on the signals received from the sensors, determines the output. So, the sensor that has be...

Research on Chapter 2 The review of the journals is intended to carry out a comprehensive study of the project that is related to this project. The research will help enhance the proper functioning of our project. Some projects may have some missing features or added features, so this investigates to research the techniques used in the design of their project and applied in out project by enhancing some of the features to create a fully functional and productive project. I have found the previous project on the internet. And I choose the best 3 journal or project draft to be my references. From these journal, I can get the output such as the function, it is can be implement nowadays or not, and also advantage and disadvantage  of every part including component and environment aspect. These 3 literature review as mention below are my reference: Automatic Vehicle Accident Detection and Messaging System Using GPS and GSM Module, Jayati Routh, Arshiya das, Piyashi Kundu, Madhubar...

As told by Dr.Zaki in the group whatapps, we need to find and do the WBS first before proceed to the gannt chart plan for fyp1 activities. Work Breakdown Structure WBS This is the example of WBS from previous project but the flow just the same and it can be use to develop new and upgrade system as planed it my project. Gantt Chart for fyp1 activities along 17 weeks. One of the purpose of Gantt chart is to easier student planning to complete the fyp proposal report on time. So, the presentation will complete earlier.
